A WoW rajongóknak nem kell a BlizzConig várniuk a következő content bejelentéséig, Ion Hazzikostast egy frissen kiadott fejlesztői videóban már ma pontokba szedte a 8.3-as patch legfontosabb újdonságait. Még mielőtt belevágnánk, a WoW Classic tábor is kapott egy jó hírt: október 16-án live-ra kerül Dire Maul, nem kell a Phase 2 elindulásáig várni. Most vissza a reteailhez. Ion Hazzikostas interjút adott a PC Worldnek, aminek az első részéből kiderült, hogy a Phase 2 elindulására még idén számíthatnak a WoW Classic játékosai. A megjelenés a layering szükségességétől függ. Akkor lesz Phase 2, ha már egyik realmen se lesz szükség erre a technológiára. A héten már hat európai szerveren is kikapcsolták, így várhatóan a többire se kell sokat várni.

A Blizzard megígérte, a Blizzard teljesíti! Szép lassan elkezdték kikapcsolni a Layeringet a WoW Classic szervereken: az első körben öt realmen, amiket a közeljövőben több követ majd. Az elkövetkezendő pár napban élesítenek egy hotfixet is, aminek az eredményeképp a realm választó listán külön jelölve lesznek a Layered realmek. Emellett tovább ingyenes transzferek is várhatók.

Több játékos jelezte a hivatalos fórumon , hogy a patch óta teljesen random módon váltakozik a játék gamma beállítása főleg Windowed módban. A legnagyobb bosszúságomra nálam is jelentkezett a hibajelenség. Meglehetősen idegesítő volt, hogy egyik pillanatról a másikra egy villanás erejéig világosabb lett a kép, aztán visszaállt a rendes beállításra. A Blizzard szerint jó megoldás lehet visszaállni DirectX 11-re, de ne higgyünk nekik! Utána is előfordul a dolog. Nálam két dolog segített: A WTF mappa tartalmának a törlése és az addonok frissítése. Azóta jó.

Bombasztikus siker volt Fire Fest-E.V.I.L. event, így hamarosan újak követik majd. Elsőként pár hét múlva egy Dungeon Run szerű Tavern Brawl. 23 lap átkerül a Standard játékmenetbe. Hamarosan kiderül, hogy mely lapokról van szó pontosan. 1000 győztes meccs ugyanazzal a karakterrel? A jutalom egy spéci class portré.
