The fifth Hearthstone Masters Tour of the year is this weekend, with players competing on the brand-new expansion, Murder at Castle Nathria ! More than 400 players from over 40 countries will battle to earn a share of the $250,000 (USD) prize pool. Players will also be fighting to gain as many points as they can toward the Masters Fall Championship on October 28-30, which will see 16 players compete in an online-only tournament for the final invite to the 2022 World Championship. Az előző hétvégén az Ázsiai Hearthstone Grandmasters-adás végén történt, hogy a győztes Chung “Blitzchung” Ng Wai egy gázmaszkkal jelent meg az interjúhoz. Felemelve a maszkot, semmi mást sem mondott, csak azt a mottót (kínaiul), amely a jelenleg is zajló Hong Kongi tüntetések jelszava: “Liberate Hong Kong. Revolution of our age!”.

Jövő héten kezdődik és egészen október 30-ig tart a Doom in the Tomb című Hearthstone event. Új kihívásokkal, rewardokkal és azzal a jó hírrel, hogy 23 klasszikus lap immáron a Standard része.

Legends have told of dangers lurking within the Haunted Temple of Uldum and the grand ancient treasures they conceal. Late last year we revealed we were hard at work evolving Hearthstone Esports into a more sustainable, entertaining, and accessible program. Today we are happy to reveal full details about the first two parts of this new program, which we have collectively named Hearthstone Masters.

In an update scheduled to arrive February 5, several cards will be changed.

When we talk about changes that are in store for Hearthstone cards, we normally talk about each card individually to explain why we think that change is needed.

This time, we’re doing things a little differently because most of the upcoming changes are happening for the same reason. Here’s why we’re changing these cards and our general philosophy behind this update.

This Hearthstone update mixes Rumble Run up for a refreshing new change, while also bringing in some updates to Arena buckets together with the cessation of December 2018’s dust refund. Read on for details! Following our Arena update last December , we have adjusted the appearance rate of each individual card available in Arena to ensure the overall win-rate of each class remains as close as possible to our ideal of 50%.

Hunter, Rogue, and Warrior have had the average quality of their Arena picks lowered. Druid, Mage, Paladin, Priest, Shaman, and Warlock have had the average quality of their Arena picks raised.…
